Geneviève began her career in Paris with a firm specializing in literary and artistic property law. She has a strong background in copyright and entertainment law. Her practice covers all aspects of analysis, negotiation and drafting of contracts.
Genevieve works with a wide variety of actors in the fields of music, entertainment, television, advertising, digital and publishing. She is proficient at dealing with all legal issues related to the cultural sector.
With an in-depth knowledge of the North American and French markets, she also assists her clients in their development abroad.
She is known for her ability to develop practical solutions in all circumstances. Her clientele can count on her dynamism, rigour and legal experience of nearly twenty years in the cultural field in Quebec.
As part of her practice, Geneviève was commissioned by APEM (Association des professionnels de l'édition musicale) to draft the organization's standard contracts for music publishing in Quebec.
She sits on the board of directors of SODEC (Société de développement des entreprises culturelles) and on the board of directors of ALAI (Association littéraire et artistique internationale).
She practices law in French and English.
